This is the first photo I ever saw of him,he sent it to me in August of 2000.I thought he was playing around with me at first ,couldn't imagine such a "cool dude" being interested in me.His voice had me from the word go, as his words were always so right ,but this picture sold me lock stock and barrel.
Some people spend a lifetime looking for what I found in him,he is truely the Love I sought in my life.No one in life is perfect as this is what makes us human,but he is as near perfect as our human limitations will allow.A good hearted man with high intelligence, his insight to the world and the things in it really make for an interesting life.
We have had to go through a lot to be together, it gave a whole new meaning to the saying "nothing worth having comes easy"...I'll tell you now there is nothing easy about a trans atlantic relationship, and its all the red tape that causes most of the bother.But true to form my "knight in shiney armour" stood by me and fought the battles at my side.
We married July 8th 2002, in GrandJunction Co.

And through the thick and thin of it Dez & Longs are still together this very day, living on the North East coast of England.Where Longshanks works as a technical support advisor for an internet provider and I am a copy centre associate for STAPLES UK. Longshanks is the proud daddy to a border collie named Sassy, a cockatiel named Percy and a green cheek conure named JoJo. He also helps out with my Teddy dog and my yorkies LiL Moe and Pippy. All in all we are a happy lil family fur, feathers or paws.
